Important limits on calculator estimates, marketplace fee data and seller decision-making.
Calculator estimates
SellerEconomics calculators are planning tools. They provide estimates based on the inputs, assumptions and fee scenarios shown on the site.
Results are not financial, tax, legal, accounting or marketplace policy advice.
Marketplace fees change
Marketplace fees can vary by country, category, seller type, fulfilment method, price band, tax treatment, promotion, subscription, currency and date.
Users should verify important pricing decisions against the relevant marketplace's official fee pages before acting.
No affiliation
SellerEconomics is independent and is not affiliated with Etsy, Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, Shopify or other marketplaces referenced on the site.
Marketplace names are used descriptively to help sellers understand calculator scenarios.
User responsibility
Sellers are responsible for their own prices, tax treatment, listings, fulfilment promises and marketplace compliance.
Do not rely on a calculator result as the only basis for a high-value commercial decision.
